S3 Spark Plugs

OK, I died today.

Well not really, but almost! My local motor factors informed me that spark plugs for an APY S3 were £8.42 EACH!

Is there any reason for using duper duper plugs, over say Bosch Super 4's? Since I can get a set of 4 on the bay for about a tenner....

£8.42 seems a spot on the excessive side....

I'll go and steal some....

std plugs are platinum use ngk bkr7e plugs about £1-£2 each and a better plug just need changing every 7k or so unlike platinum plugs that are rated at like 60k or so not that they'd last that long in my car

sparkplugs.co.uk have them for £5.90 + vat each

Std plugs are BKR6EIX (iridium), on a remapped car they are fine, 7's may give you probs when cold. Gap them to 0.7mm.

40k miles actually, but I will be changing mine at 20k miles myself, due to remap.
