REMAP MY NEW S3?

Hi Guys

I was wondering if anyone could help and tell me anywhere decent where to get my car remapped? i live in bham but was wondering is there anywhere local that people can advise?

Agree with Tim, wait a while, get used to it, then give it a new lease of life with a remap...oh and if i remember correctly, you are local, so get yourself down to Midland VW and get yourself a CC remap

Yeah definately get your car remapped, I can see why some people say wait a couple of months so you enjoy it all the more but personally I'd be booking in straight away as I did myself why wait when you can improve the drive and performance so easily...

You'll be glad you did, my car still makes me smile like a kid after 21 months...

And I don't think that's going to change anytime soon...lol

Yes, I recommend a remap, but at 100k miles, I would get an inependant specialist to give it a once over before doing the remap thing, just incase.

Definately get it remapped and don't wait. I owned mine about 2 weeks before it was at the tuner. I used JBS in Chesterfield. They do a remap package for £350 including new panel filter and Forge DV.

The tuner should be able to help with whether 100k miles is aproblem but i doubt it is going to matter

Go for it but with 100k on the clock be prepared to replace Coilpacks and clutch soon after!

The Remap on my S3 was the best money spent!

the drive on the car is fantastic - i havent had no problems and the last service was a few months back...its a fantastic car but im not if remapping the car will do harm or good as mine has done 100k.

anyone else have a s3 with 100k on the clock has the remap made any difference?

i know the remap helps increase power but do i want to increase the mpg lol

It makes the mpg slightly better when cruising.
