Replacing cd changer

hi,

just wondering if it's possible to replace the standard 6 disc changer in the boot with anything else. like a sony mp3 changer unit.


just thinking of some options.

Not sure if any others will fit but i do know you can buy a mini hard drive that fits in the stanard cd changer of the net somewere. Maybe someone that knows more could give you a little more info.

You wont be able to use any other cd changed with the standard head unit. You would have to buy a sony cd player and changer ect.

oh i thought you could get a connects2 box and link them together, anyway doesnt matter, as ive decided to buy a becker grand prix 7992, found one for almost £100 pound cheaper then what everone else is doing it for.....

side note, hodge, what lens's have you got for your dslr.?

Why not get an Ipod interface such as the AMI or a Denison unit. Not used my CD changer in years

ive ordered the ipod kit with the becker, so fingers crossed it will all be good.

Good, Hope it works. Not being able to listen to MP3 CD's is damn anoying lol.

side note, hodge, what lens's have you got for your dslr.?

Its the origanal Cannon 18-55mm lens

Will invest in a Sigma lens soon tho
