I have a very annoying knocking sound coming from my car, it happens mostly when im going round corners about 20-40mph. Its most noticable on roundabouts, mainly turning right. Almost sounds like more of a rubbing knock, Im fairly sure its from the rear left.
Does anyone have any ideas????
Its an S3 on standard suspension standard wheels.

Had a new roll bar and bushes on the front a couple of months ago, that was a very different knocking to this one.

Nope, checked the springs, isnt a wheel bearing more of a constant whining? This sound is not constant.
What would the rear arb sound like, and how would I know if the bushes were worn?

If you jack your car up and grab the rear wheel, give it a good shake side to side and up and down and see if you feel any excess play or clunking.

Doesnt really clunk or anything.
Is there anything else it could be? .... anyone?

Went into my local garage, and they think it is either the C.V joint or the driveshaft. Neither sound good. How would one know if it is either of these?
