Need a crankshaft for my S3

Anyone know where i can get a good 2nd hand crank for my APY S3?

Not sure if my crank can be saved after the oil pump pressure drop and damaged a bearing

Its taken quite a while for the garage to decide if it needs a crank. Can't they regrind the crank and oversize the shells?

Its a long story but it was never taken to the garage i got the car from as trading standards had to involved.

Anyway i started work on it last week and found one of the bearing has damaged the crank

I'm not 100% sure it can be saved? So just looking into it if the worst come to the worst

Ah right, proves we read your threads,lol

IIRC any 1.8t crank will do as the specs are the same,journal size,stroke etc. Even the cast cranks are good for up to 500 bhp anyway.

Remove the crank and get it checked, my guess is a slight pick up will clean outand a regrind will see you mobile again
