What's changed in a hybrid?

I've seen a cheap, but broken turbo which i thought i could possibly use for my hybrid.
can anybody comfirm that when producing a hybrid turbo, the compressor wheel and turbine wheel are replaced with upgraded parts?
these are the parts that have supposedly failed in the unit i might get, would this cause any issues for the rest of the turbo? i.e. breaking anything else in the turbo?

IIRc it's K04 internals in a K03 casing.
