2001 S3 spare keys

Anyone know if you can get keys cut buy anyone other than audi? They wanted £100 for a spare key!!
Not worried about the electrics or being able to start the car, just want to be able to lock/unlock the doors.

Yes, you can get them done. When my S3 was nicked all four keys disappeared as well, so insurance co had one done. Just looks like a normal key (not a plipper) and has immobiliser in it as well. No idea where they got it from, tho, but it was Citroen Retail World, Brentford, W. London who did it. I guess most accident repair places can probably get them.

YOU CAN GET SOME KEY PLACES TO CLONE A KEY BUT YOU NEED TO SEND THEM THE ORIGIONAL!! OTHERWISE YOU MUST BUY IT FROM AUDI CAUSE THEY HAVE GOT THE KEY NUMBER (CUTTING CODE) AND TO MY KNOWLEDGE I DONT THINK WE CAN GIVE IT OUT ANYMORE EVEN TO THE CUSTOMER WHO'S CAR IT IS.
