Climate Control Showing Speed??

I have just been having a little look on ebay and someone is selling to tell you the codes/combination to push keys etc to get your climate control to show your speed, rmp etc. Is this possible?? I know I have read about doing this on a MkIV Golf but didn't know you could on Audis.

If any one know this is possible and can tell me what to do it would be wicked. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dancing.gif (I have a T reg A3)

Thanks

hope this helps

Unlocking the Secrets within the Climate Control Panel

These are for a B5 A4 but are correct in 90odd percent of cases for TT, A3, Golf etc

There are a few sites out there that give the S3 codes too.

I can not believe that there is someone on eBay charging about £4 for this free information /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burningmad.gif

Just to check, these codes will work with the old style Air Con controls with the single temp display on a 99' T Reg A3??

So when you select the code what do you push to choose that code to then display the details? One other thing what is the code you need to set it back to the normal Air Con temp?

Sorry to be a pain I just want to check first. :¬)

Cheers

lol, thanks that is a great help. I'll try not be such a pain next time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

One other question, my mate has a New A4 with the dual sided Climate Control. Would these codes work for his car as well?

Cheers

However...

There's a secret procedure for him to view speed information too...

When the vehicle is in motion... Look next to the rev-counter! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

Regards,

Rob

PS> Braking force can be measured on an A4 too, by guesstimation of the force exerted on the sole of the foot by the sole of the shoe while braking /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif

Yes but if you tell him that you may have to kill him so be carefull who gets hold of this information /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jawdrop.gif
