S3 cosmetic changes

Hi guys,

Good friend of mine has a 01reg S3 in silver. He has had various bits done to it (remap, dump valve, milltek, lowered, LCR splitter) but is now at the point of wanting to change it cosmetically. Obviously wheels are an option but has anyone got any pics/ideas on what he can do.

Hes debating the option of painting the roof black as a start....

Hi Chris,

Have a little peek at pictures of S3's from edition38 shows, lot's of inspiration there. Apart from the obvious paint, there isn't much 'out there' to add (ie - stick on tatt, which is a good thing).

He could look at letting really subtle mods done, like smoothing the lines in the bumper, spraying the plastic skirts/grilles to match etc etc.

Thanks for that. Ive also had a look on various pics of peoples cars on here for inspiration. I drive a TT and there are soooo many sites to buy accessories etc from.

What sites are recommended for browsing around for S3's

Those MTM 19" alloys look smart. Or spacers for those he has

Apart from that, I like the S3 how it is. Its easy to go OTT
