Well I had my clutch replaced about 400 km ago..

anyhow when i drive at about 3k rpm (first and second) i get a tin rattling sound (the clutch and fly will were replaced by Luk)

my question is, could it be the clutch or something else? it hangs around 3k~ 3.5k rpm

any ideas?

Cheers

90% chance it is a loose exhaust heat shield

I have exactly the same problem atm am waiting for my garage to have a free slot to take the exhaust off and stick a blob of weld on it.
mine does it between 3 - 4k
I have had another in the past do this also.

Hmm, it has 3" downpipe and 3" straight through to the stock muffler

so it has a 120cell highflow cat no heat shield.. ******

theer are various heat shields on teh exhaust, it could be teh exhaust rattling against something else also

mm if i guess i best put it on a hoist and check it out

(Y) cheers

im thinking it could be my FMIC as its a really really close fit onto the bar, but it puzzles me why it only dows it at 3k rpm and not past 4k

it will just be the right amount of vibration to make it resonate at that range.

my heat shield was the same, fine under3k and fine over4k
