Changing brake light

for what shoud be such a simple job i've never had so much of a fiddle! it looks like a i have to remove the amp to get to it (drivers side)

Is there a simple way that im just not seeing? or do audi just want u to take ur car to the garage to change a bulb?

You do not need to remove the amp.

I know what you mean. I had to do it and you need pretty small fingers - in fact I got the Mrs do it !

I managed to get the old bulb out myslef and whilst attempting to fit the new one, I dropped it in the lens compartment.....and it's still in there !

I get soo angry at car manufacturers when simple jobs turn out to pig difficult and it tests one patience to the limit.

I managed to get my hands in there, it wasn't easy and I now have no skin left on my knuckles but its done

Its a real pig of a job. I dropped a brand new bulb down into the bumper and I can here it rolling about when cornering! I need to take the bumber off to get it out!

Dropped it down the bumper ? How's that possible ? (no need to answer !) I would have thought it would drop in the lens compartment like it did for me.

i dropped it down the gap a few times!! had to use a litter picker to recover it! was quite funny!
