    Possible window carrier issues?

    Hi Everyone,

I was hoping somebody may be able to help point me in the right direction here. Fault is as follows:

NS window down, go to put it back up, window winds up 2cm at a really slow pace and then drops back into the door with a thud. Try again, same thing, only it's slower to go up (actually quite amusing to watch). OS is fine.

So, get home after my lovely breezy drive and get the g/f outside in her PJ's to hold the button in the up position whilst I persuade (with brute force) the window to come back up.

Upon pulling it up it drops down into the door with gusto! I will it back out and 5 minutes of swearing at it seems to do the trick and it stays closed.

So far, it has stayed shut but I sure as hell aren't going to go opening it again.

Any ideas on what this could be?

Sounds like the classic broken window clip problem.

It's the same for both A3 and S3.
