hi all.

just wondering what the colour of my car is.

ive seen a couple of other s3 with what is called nogaero blue. but i thought my car was that colour. there cars are alot more blue then mine, mines verging on purple.

its a w-reg S3 pre facelift. ive seen a4 convertibles and such in really blue almost flat paint colours.

the case of the random paint colour has be solved.

fixed by cleaning the car. (what a tw@t).

i rarely do it and when i got back from AD this morning i did it, it looked exactly what i was after.

maybe i should get it done more often.

and stop being a random weirdo.

LOL ^^

Lovely colour though mate. Get some nice wax on it to really add depth to it. I know its a solid colour but adding a good wax will not only give lovely depth but protect the paintwork.

And no i'm not talking about AutoGlym (omg if you have any burn it) lol!

Try :

Or for slightly more depth and shine, with less durability:

Both products are amazing and you'll not believe the beading of water it's capable of after it's applied. I use this on my car, will be tryin a sealant next time around though.

To wet your appetite! :p

Nice finish on your bonnet there Mr G...

I really have got to do my car one day, I keep threatening but it never seems to happen, your paint work looks brilliant...:faint:

:respekt:

Thanks Leg! :)

It's such an awesome colour ming blue, most people don't realise just how good it can look once a proper detail is done. You'd need to remove the swirls to really really see the real "ming" blue.

I've bitten the detailing bug yet again can't wait to do mine again now!

I get fed up of cleaning my car. I clayed it, polished and waxed it 3 weeks ago and it looks brown now! Where I live I park on a dusty track so as soon as I've driven down there twice its messy again.

I'm looking to buy a house with a garage at the moment so if I can afford to keep the car i'll be able to keep it cleaner for longer and can get a pro detail done.
