They fit on an A3 with no worries, they look brilliant too!.

They were all polished from the factory but can suffer with corrosion so it would be worth getting a set and seeing what condition they are in. You can do a decent polish job on them at home being as they're a pretty basic design wheel.

I'd love some for my car but they get snapped up pretty quick!.

I run 6 spoke 17" TT alloys (not comps) on my A3 TQS. 3mm isn't an issue on the ET.

They fit straight on, but as Tom says check the condition coz as soon as some water gets behind the lacquer, its corrosion city!!!

When I got my S3 they came with the TT Comps on them, but I ended up swapping them for the standard S3 rims which are on my car now.

I do like them though, as have had a previous set for my Mk3 GTi.

Have a look on the Golf webistes, edition38, dubclique, performance vw, their classifieds always have them up for sale.

Cheers guys, and thanks for the pic

so are all the The ET fitment from the TT ET32 and that wont matter then??

also, i undertsnad about the corrosion, but a refurb can always sort that out can it?? or do you have to be carful that the corrosion hasnt ruined the wheel itself??

what should i be eecpecting to pay for a set?
    fair condition?
    good condition?
    poor condition??

    and thanks again guys

About 250 for a semi decent set I would say.

If you need them to be refurbed then you can do it yourself very easily on TT Comps as they're a nice simple design. Just flat, flat, polish and more polish. Then a load of coats of clear to seal in the shine

I'm running ET32 as per pic above, you can see the 3mm difference doesn't matter!

i like Merc rims also, is there any other make of car that has wheels that fit directly on the A3 L??

also, if i got a set of Comps (which is increasing) does it matter f they are badly corroded, as ill have to get them refurbed anyway, but they arent kurbed much so that helps a bit..

also, would you kep them plished, or maybe another colour??

thnks for hep guys, and the pics, much appreciated.

also id put some pics up but have NO idea on the forum

Join photobucket, download some pictures on there then copy and paste A3's are limited to 5x100 due to slimmer arches but if you find the right set of alloys with the right offset adaptors can be used, your refurb depends on the colour of your A3

Thanks for all the help guys, but what kind of tyres should i have with those wheels as part of the reason for getting the comps is becuse they are 17s and i dont want to compromise the ride.

    thanks

225/45/17 is the tyre size you want on the Comps.

Sandip, wicked pic mate, some skills with that shot for sure
