Gearbox

Hi All,

Please can you tell me if this is normal?

I have a MY2000 Audi A3 Quattro Sport, when changing gear from 1st and 2nd it seem a bit notchy, 3rd a bit better, 4th and 5th no problem.

Not had the car long so maybe I need to get used to this as I have not owned an Audi before.

Any comments appreciated.....

mine was the same. a new powerflex dog bone bush, and vibratechnic engine mounts did seem to make it a little better

mine was doing the same, just drove to manchester and back to darlington, was about half mile from my house and i lost both 1st and 2nd gear, managed to nurse it home but with heavy clutch slipping, taking it into the garage today, mechanic said it could just be the linkage to 1st and 2nd, but not holding my breath. also could be looking at new clutch :-(
