this is prob just a brake switch problem but it looks fine on seems to go in and out as it should, could it still be faulty or couldit be something else, any advise woulb be great as its killing my battery, cheers.

Pull the wires from the switch, if the lights go out, it's the switch, if it doesn't have you changed any bulbs or anything recently?
Failing that, pull the fuse till morning to save your battery

as you said sounds like your switch , mine went about a month ago,
cost me about 6 quid i think, GSF parts says there are to switch availble for the s3 a 2 pin and a 3 pin, mine was the 2 pin and that was on a 2001 s3 ,hope this helps
