As subject I've bought a head lining from a scrap yard out of an A3 and I am hoping to use the material to cover something else /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The only problem is that it's got foam backing that has been stuck to it buy strong adhesive.

Any ideas what I can use to dissolve the glue and remove the foam backing?

I know it's an odd one LOL

Cheers Mark

There is some stuff called tardis which i have used in the past to remove glue. you might need to go to a valeters for that, bit of a pain but its good stuff.

Or Lakeland do something called Sticky stuff remover. Smells of orange and works quite well at disolving sticky stuff /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Don't know how effective it would be in your case though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

use lable remover from RS component or ard electronics?

Really good and cheap?

At work we use nail polish remover to remove glue/labels and permanent marker. Its cheap and easy to get, The girlfriend/wife will have some.
