Odd problem since replacing battery...

...I had to replace the battery on friday, but since the change I have been experiencing low idle! I used to just turn the key and boom, nice and smooth. But now the idle seems irratic and stalls the majority of the time. I can also feel the accelerator pedal twitching whilst this is going on...

Any ideas?

Have you tried cleaning the battery terminals and clamps with some wire wool?

You may have dirty contacts!

Nope, just bolted it straight on. I'll give it some coppergrease later when its stopped raining...cheers

Its worth a go..........otherwise you could have a duff or not powerful enough battery

get a multimeter on the battery too, just to make sure its showing the correct voltage

should be around 12v ish normally

and around 14.4v when car is running
