Forge 007 - any maintenance needed?

Hi guys, when I bought my '03 S3 a couple of months ago it came with a Forge 007 DV fitted by a previous owner. No complaints whatsoever, but was just wondering whether it needs any maintenance/checking & if so what needs doing when.

just needs taking apart and given a good clean, make sure the spring an piston are in good condition then re-grease the piston. Done.

In the guide it mentions lubricating with high temperature grease. Is that the same as copper grease?

Not copper grease no, something for high temperatures like bearing grease etc.

Thanks guys. How often does it need cleaning out?

Also, I've seen some posts on here about different springs, presumably different spring tensions. What's the effect of changing the spring to a harder/softer version?
