Brake fluid level?

I cant work out if I have overfilled my brake fluid, I cant seem to see a min-max mark on the fluid reservoir.

How can I tell if the correct amount is in there?

The min max marks are on the side of the resevoir mate, unfortunately its really hard to see in the S3 because of its location, i think the max mark is level with the seam that runs around the resevoir iirc.

Thanks for the response, much appreaciated. I removed the top last night and the fluid was right at the top and as a result I think it has caused my clutch master cylinder to blow a seal because fluid is slowly driping down under the clutch pedal...
