HELP!!!! Can anyone tell me what the part number is for a 2001 S3 near side front drive shaft. Audi will not tell me and are quoting over £300 for a new one. My problem is when turning right I get a similar noise to when the outer CV joint has gone but I have replaced the near side one and it still make the knocking/ cliking sound!!! My mechanic says it must be the inner CV joint and therefore I need to replace the drive shaft. Does this sound correct, if not can anyone shed any light on what the best solution to this problem is.
