Nice work Stace.
Does the TT not have fog lights at all? It definitely looks an easier job on the TT to the S3.
Not that i know of actually but there is a lot more room behind the TT bumper than the s3 in my experiance
It's like dejawu haha.
Did you guys remove the aliens?

So much more space Seems like the piping routes were better too. The AH V2 fits ok with 2x alloy 90s and 2x silicone 90s but it wasn't quite perfect and the hose to the charge pipe on the drivers side is rubbing on the back of the headlight.
Did you find that alloy 90 degree pipe sits a bit pissed into the hose to the charge pipe?
not particularly no.
looking at it right now, i can twist the pipe on the charge pipe to make it sit better, with clamps on it will be perfect
the rest of my install.
there will be a final few pics once my bumper is trimmed and fitted
Looking good Super K!
My only one concern would be how have you flushed / mated the 63mm pipe onto the 76mm tank on the exit side of the cooler?
On the way in, I don't think the step or lip would effect flow at all, but on the exit, if you've pushed the 63 inside say 15mm (as an example) then welded around the end, you've effectively created a little 10-15mm slot if that makes sense?
here are my final pictures of it:
as said in my thread, the 3inch outlets foul the fog grills, but they are secure.
i had no idea where the bumper would foul, but im more than happy with the outcome!
p.s. i want to paint the pipes black to stealth it a little. of course keeping the shiny core!
Best pull the plug to the pump behind the headlight as risk burning the pump out, could always set up an intercooler spray kit to run off of this pump I'm in the process of doing so
Same sort of thing as emissions....decatOriginally Posted by ;1591137
I like what you have done there Karl, but I would have the same concern as Prawn. What length 90deg pipes did you get. Gonna order some and fit mine your way so as to keep the fogs but with a slight difference. Gonna make some step down connectors so there is no gap between the pipe and cooler and weld it all together.

Generally myself and a lot if people buy off of eBay through mr silicone and ap motorstore.......good stuff and generally good prices
Yeah I used eBay - way cheaper in the UK...
Ok, thank you !
And do I order 60mm or 63mm tubing ? Because original is 60mm I guess and the FAB V2 has 63mm bends ?
i went 63mm.
There can be nothing more frustrating than being PM'd a question, and giving a full and thorough answer, only to find that exact question posted on the public board a few hours later. The original recipient of your PM has obviosuly been selected for a reason, so you've already in effect 'validated' the quality of the response before you've even pressed send!
If you're going to do something like that, you're best just asking in here first, that way people don't feel like they're wasting their time going to the trouble of writing a detailled PM direct to you, only for it to be ignored.
Did yours come with the dv and n75 fittings on the pipe or did you fab those on ?
Going to order a AH V2 soon hope fully got some in stock if not will he get one made ? going to get all my pipe work first though so just to check I get 2 x silicone 63mm 90 d hose and 2 x 63 mm 90 d alloy bend ? Is there anything else is it worth changing the top pipes
Make sure he welds the brackets on the correct way
But yeah, that's right plus I used one of the OEM hoses from MAP tube to alloy 90 on the passenger side.
Thanks Tuffty and Sam what are the top hoses called ?
looks good sam, need to get mine ordered. I've already printed off your fitting guide for reference! cheers for posting it up!

Build/project thread check it out!
Yeah, just go for normal. It makes a tiny bit of difference to the life of the diverter valve, supposedly. Downside is it's a bit more piping to do.
Hmm im begining to think buying a forge cooler wasnt a good idea :/
