Remote central locking problem!someone please help

Just back from going to the shops, locked the car with the key as teh window was open, i forgot to shut it!

Went back out and the remote locking doesnt work at all now!

Someone please help?

Firstly I would change the battery in the remote just to see if its dead or not.

ok how weird! just took the batteries out and gave them a clean, put them back in and didnt do anything!

As i have one of the keys that pull apart, i put the key part in the ignition and started it up then pressed the lock button multiple times took the key out shut the door and it works!

i dont get it!!!!!!!!!!!

touch wood it dont do it again!
