S3 third gear problem

Been noticing that when I push my car and change gear from 2nd to 3rd it crunches, but if driving normally everything is fine.

All other gears are fine at what ever speed I do.

Is there an adjustment that Audi can perform or myself?

I read something here on the forum that this was a common problem and that audi had some special oil that sorted the problem out..

I been looking for ages and i can't find the thread.. Will have another loook in a bit.. Only read it the other day too, can't remember where it was..

had exactly the same problem and it would seem it's quite common on A/S3s and golfs.
Mentioned it when mine went in for service and they just adjusted one of the gearbox cables - problem solved.
