    tps part number?

    hiya. does anybody know the part number for the throttle position sensor? audi have quoted me Ł480! because they cant supply on its own

    get yourself under the bonnet and have a look, it will be printed on the sensor itself. Asuming you know where it is on the car?
    It's all gone sensible now - Passat B6 140 tdi on the drive, saving a fortune on fuel though!

    yea. i had it out yesterday 2 clean to see if that would sort it. didnt work tho. wanted to try and get a part today but the cars at home. i'll have a look 2nite. does any1 know anywhere i can buy these without the housing?

    how have you diagnosed it to be the fault? have you used vagcom? I know that with vagcom you can re calibrate a tps.

    What engine is it?
    It's all gone sensible now - Passat B6 140 tdi on the drive, saving a fortune on fuel though!

    There is no TPS on the 1.8T...Well, there is bus its an integral part of the throttle body housing so you actually can't replace that part alone. What year is your car?
