    No locking petrol cap?

Filled up my S3 for the first time today. The petrol cap has no locking mechanism.

Is this standard? Is it alarmed when the car is locked up? My Golf GTI had a cap release button by the handbrake, but not the S3.

What's to stop someone nicking my petrol or even worse, pouring sugar in?!

    Cheers,

phew! there's a shooting bolt type lock which is activated with the central locking.

I was convinced audi couldn't be that dull - but wasn't too sure! haha

Whoops - you're right - the flap is locked when the car is locked!
