Haldex Oil Change (S3) - In the South-East

Just realised i need new Haldex oil and a filter on the S3, rang up my local Audi and was quoted £156 Inc Vat...

Is this a fair price?.. Anyone know of any better places to get some quotes?!

That's the same price that I got from Hatfield Audi in Hertfordshire so its the going rate.

If you'r ok with a bit of DIY mechanics you can buy the Haldex spanner from ebay for £30 then buy the oil and filter for about another £20. I did mine myself and it took about 45 mins to do....... but I do have access to a pit. I wouldn't fancy doing it on the drive!

I used 4 Rings mate, good guys that work there. Think I paid 35 for the oil and filter and 28 labour.

They did mine for free when I had a full service and cambelt done recently, so I can't imagine they'd charge much for it on its own.
