i've noticed during the last couple of days whilst driving that when i accelerate, through all the ranges, there is a noticeable noise that gets louder the faster i go, i've searched the forums for the past three hours looking for similar problems, but cannot find an answer, the car itself is a 2002 a3 1.8t sport with 75000 miles, and it was serviced three weeks ago when i took it from the dealer. There is no noticeable power loss and the turbo seems like its working perfectly, in my opinion it seems that the car is struggling to get air into the system, it sounds like a blocked hoover,lol, anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?
