Facelift A3 & S3 Headlights the same ?

Ive just failed my MOT - the headlight adjuster is broken and so the aim is all wrong and cant be adjusted.

Does anyone know if the A3 and S3 (2001) have the same lights ?

The S3 has Xenon lights for starters mate, as for the shape I think theyre the same.

They are both the same, they are the projector stylee, but im sure you can use the S3 ones on an A3, just without the Xenon system.

s3 ones are different to a3 because of the xenon the bulb is different so you will not be able to fit a ds2 xenon bulb into a a3 h7 bulb hole, also the s3 has auto adjuster where as the a3 has manual adjuster,
as for putting s3 onto an a3 you can do it that way as the a3 owners can then upgrade to xenon headlights
