Every so often when i start my car first thing on the mornings i hear a bleeping sound coming from rear of the car. It can only be heard for few seconds then goes. Anyone know what it is?

It's something to do with the alarm system. There is another thread on this under "four beeps".
It's either the backup batteries in the alarm controller starting to fail (which is why it happens when its cold), or the alarm unit just needs a reset.
My wifes A3TS does it about once a week.
No one seems to have a definitive answer.
The alarm controller is in the boot behind the sub, so not easy to get to.
