I wonder if you got this sorted? I got the same problem with my A3 and its been showing the Air Bag light for the last 3 weeks now :(

Please help :)

Well you'll need it checked anyway but check connectors under seats if you have seat airbags mate, but vagcom scan will advise which is playing up, done any work on the car recently or before?

The only bit of work thats been done on it is replacing the lights.
Also the battery went flat when my wife left one of the interior lights off.

Besides that I dont know whats caused it. I will however during xmas have a look at the seats.

Will I need to rip off the seats to find the answer?

nope its usually the connector under the passenger side, just disconnect the iec block and clean it and put it back together. either way you have to reset the airbag warning light on vag.

(you dont need to remove the seat just raise it up and have a look around! there arent many wires under there)

Thanks for the heads up.

Will do it once I am parked up at my friends garage next week :)
