What is this please

Hi opened my bonnet as i could hear a very loud clicking noise, It was comming from this unit. Does an ybody know what it is or if it could be faulty due to the sound it was making. It is an Audi S3 2000 reg

that is the charcoal cannister solenoid , quite normal for it to click

ok great thanks guys was hoping it was faulty and the cause of my overheating but looks like it is the water pump.
