Loss of turbo in 4th gear

Hi all,
my 1st thread and new to all this. so bare with me. lol. my S3 (driving it on a private road i may add) when changing gear from the top end of 3rd gear to going into 4th, loses power. well that what it feels like. all the way up to aprox 5200rpm then mass boost is delievered.

anyone know what thats all about??

any help would be much appreciated

Is your clutch slipping?

I'm beginning to sound like an old record, but have you logged the boost on the car with vag-com, while this is happening? Could be a dying clutch as jcs356 said, as I see no reason for your turbo to be dependant on your gear selection by that much

how do you log boost with VAG??
