Lowering question (A3 on 17's)

Did a quick forum search but didn't spot anything so here goes...

Going down 50mm with a 1.8T over 17" RS4's (not sure if they're reps. or originals) am I goning to run into problems on the front arches?
Had a poke around and I'm guessing the lining is going to have to come out at the very least.

You'll more likely get problems with the ARB rubbing on the driveshaft. A very popular choice is the Weitec 40mm kit which won't give any problems.
