I think it may be helpful to some and mysef if we broke certain mods into cost catagories, as everyone talks of changing this that and the other, but hardly any prices. I know labour can play a factor in this though with fitting.

IN your opinion best Mods in the follwoing

  • Under £200
  • £201-500
  • £501-750
  • £751-1000
  • £1000+
 
under £200-leon cupra front splitter,N75j,007p Diverter Valve,CG lock,HID kit
£201-500-Revo remap,hoses or ARB's
£501-750-FMIC,ICE,
£751-1000-Alloys or Brakes or Suspension
£1000+ Decent Alloys :) BT

personally have to add sound system(limitless monies)

and if you dont have them - HID kit,£80-£150. Dont buy the chinese kits, connections are rubbish.. There is a UK seller on Ebay, got mine, havnt gone wrong in the 2 years, and ive still got another 3 years warantee too!

Under £200 - Short Shift (My Diesel Geek one is sweet!)
£201-500 - Goodyear Eagle F1's
£501-750 - FMIC? (Heard good things, I'm looking into getting one very soon!)
£751-1000 - New front breaks (I've got some Mov'it 4 Pot brakes adn there awesome!)
£1000+ - Hybrid Turbo
 
  • Under £200 = Black out chrome grill surround, iPod kit
  • £201-500 = VAGCOM, Remap, decent tyres, Manifold, Silicone Hoses, HAldex upgrade, uprated clutch/flywheel
  • £501-750 = Decent set of wheels, FMIC
  • £751-1000 = Brakes, Exhaust
  • £1000+ = Full Suspension upgrade, Stage 3 remap, Upgrade to R8 :p
