Hi all ,

When is the best time to upgrade to a new turbo does it depend on how many miles your car has done ? or do you get a upgrade kit like this ?

Just wondered if your car is over 100k when should you replace mine is fine and working well just keeping on top of things !

No need to replace if it's running okay.

So how long can they last ?

Should be the life of the car on standard boost or with a decent remap. Go mad on boost and you might melt one. Generally you shouldn't need to service the turbo.

A friend of mine looking to have one fitted soon. Sure there must be a fair few people running a JBS Hybrid turbo on here

It looks about £1500 for an upgrade to JBS05 (having already got their stage 1). Thats not too bad for a reliable extra 40-50bhp!

I wonder what sort of extra power would be acheived without the exhaust?
