When fitting lowering springs to a 2000, S3 do you have to fit rear adjustable tie bars and if so why? or can you leave the stock tie bars on? :kissmyrings:

I think you can leave all the standard suspension when fitting lowering springs but most tend not to just do the springs as the S3 is a little unstable with lowering springs on standard shocks.

The rear adjustable bars stop the rear tyres from wearing as bad on the inside edge as you alter the cambre when you lower it
