indicator fault

has anybody else ever had any problems with their indicators? Mine have developed a problem in the last few days. when you 1st put them on they flash erratically for about 2-3 seconds and then settle down (both sides). I've tried the hazzards and they seem to be a bit faster too but not that noticably. I have just got the Vagcom and will see try it once I get the activation code through for the software. Is the relay in the dash board in behind the radio/vents area as that is where the clicking comes from..

yep had this - well known problem.

Dealer will sort - something to do with the relay switch on the hazards. 5 min warranty job.

Thanks. A warrenty LOL I'm sure it had one of those years ago, its a 1998 A3 I'm afraid.
