Help with longitudinal sensor

Yes dealer part only, I got one last year from tps with a little discount for 150 inc vat. It's a total rip off as theirs ****** all inside the thing.
You could try taking your old one apart and re-soldering the chip as this is what breaks in them, which is what I did with my old one.I'd of attempted the repair first before buying one, but my mot was looming at the time so wouldn't of got it done in time.

You need to remove the side panel on the passenger side of dash, unscrew the plastic that's behind it and drop the glove box out to get to it, although I did manage to get it out without removing the glove box but then promptly dropped either the clip or the sensor, so ended up dropping the glovebox anyway :blush:

Audi is cheaper than tps for this sensor btw, got mine for 130 all in.
