Ive been told that mk4 golf cat-backs fit on a3s as they have the same mounting points..

Does anyone know if this is true as my friend if breaking his golf And i want his cat back.

yea they fit fine mate, although you need a trim a tiny bit out of the metal rear valance behind the bumper, and make a small cut into the valance, so the exhaust looks like it's ment to be there. Not like some silly afterthought like the A3 specific ones which hang below!

The A3 ones only hang below because the metal plate behind the valance stops them being tucked up into the bumper a little to look stock.

I have a new turbo to go on and a whole box full of engine internals. I'm debating on whether to fit the parts or sell them as I hardly drive the car anymore. I mate has just fitted the same turbo as the one sitting in my bedroom and made 375bhp. Tempting but I'm really happy with how mine is running plus I've been looking at Evos. Can't decide at the mo.
