Fitting Chrome Mirrors

Hi,

Can anyone provide me with a guide on how to remove the old mirror housing and fit a set of the chrome mirror housing please.

I undone the 2 screws underneath but cannot work out how to remove the housing.

Will I need to remove the mirror glass first? If so, how do I accomplish that?

remove the glass, take out the 3 or 4 screws behind the glass which hold the housing on and lift off, threading the glass thru as you go. easy as pie!!!

If these are the same as on the MK4 Golf, you do not need to remove the glass

It just litterally unclipped but it was very tight!
