Oil Covered Maf/Induction Hose

Just gave the car agood clean job and thought why'll im at it i cleant eh engine bay, then i thought why not have alook at smoothing the air box so out comes the tools and off come the air box, once off i noticed the entire maf unit ic covered in a really fine layer of oil and the induction hose is too! Now is this normal

Oil film after the breather inlet is normal. Shouldn't be any before ie the MAF.

so Im guessing thats abad thing then! Could it have anything todo with the pvc? Ive tried doing some research and that came up abit!
