Thinking of a Forge recirc valve aswell but unsure if it already has one? anyone no how I can find out? and does anyone knoe how big the discs are on the Brembo gt upgrades are need pads and discs!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!!!:beerchug:

Hi there, most people go for the k&n or green panel filter but i went for the itg version. I've heard of some issuse's with the k&n messing up the MAF due to the oil they use, but not sure how true they are.

As for the dump valve, you will know if it's a forge on as it will be silver or black and have forge somewhere visble for you to see clearly.

Not sure about the other questions so hopefully someone will come along and help

I bought myself a 'Design Tek Vortex hi-flo panel air filter' for my S3 and its been great. i think the company specialises in Porche bits but make a few small parts for audi and VW. It makes a great noise and was good value for money, think it was about £30 quid with postage.
I would defo recommend one

I also got a forge recirc valve and as mentioned it is normally anodised or polished and has forge written on the side.I think the standard valve is a plastic bosch one, you will know straight away if its the forge replacement.

Hope that helps a bit

Discs are 323mm mate. The discs and pads are the same as on a 2002-2005 Seat leon cupra r with brembo calipers. Ive just ordered discs n pads for mine so hope there right anyway. Lol
Green panel filters are good, or a jettex one. I wouldnt use the oil on them though or any other filter as i doesn't do the MAF any good

Most people go for the Green Cotton Filter.

Do a search, theres loads of info on filters on here.

K&n filter is ok,it doesnt need oiling so there is no issue with damaging the maf. However dnt expect any power gains from an uprated panel filter. You wil get an improved induction sound tho. I would save my money even if it is only 30 quid. The standard filter works the best.

Somone on here has logged changes in the maf readings after fitting the k&n which he believes is due to the oil applied to the filter.

I have a Green.
