Sunroof air resonance

I've got a sunroof problem with my '01 A3 Quattro. When it is wide open, around 40-70 km/h it makes horrible "whop-whop-whop" sound. It's really loud and hurts my ears. It stops when I open the window a little. Anybody having the same problem? I've never seen this kind of problem in any car.

had it in my calibra - just air compressions, thought it should release through vents in the boot, but I had to put up with the open window syndrom

I've got no alarm, only a remote control to open and close door/trunk. I think the remote is standard.
