what's the BHP on a 1.6 and a 1.8?

Not sure about the 1.6 but I think the 1.8 is 125.

hhmmmm bit of a drop from my 150 bhp calibra, but deffinalty making up for it in style and reliabilty (even if I am loosing the leather ;-(

1.6 has 101bhp
1.8 has 125bhp

Both engines seem really underpowered, I thought the clutch was slipping the first time I drove a 1.8 but you just really have to rev it cause its a 20v

i actually thought it felt more torquey at 2800 - 4000? are they variable valve timing??
