Hi
I own a 1999 A3 1.8T and the other night it started misfiring on my way home from work. The AA had a look at it and tested the plugs and the coils but couldn't find a fault there so suggested it was an injector. I have taken it to a garage who have just rung to say they think its a problem with "a line to the injector" (??) and it needs to go to a specialist garage.
Can anyone shed any light on this and more importantly how much its likely to cost please.
Thanks

chances are it is a coil pack, common fault do a search..

it always worries me when a garage says 'we think its..' take it somewhere else or get it on vagcom to check for faults.

thanks for the reply ash but the AA guy changed the coils around and the fault still existed on injector 3 so I don't think its a coil pack problem
