Downpipe gasket?

Hi all i have what sounds like an exhaust blow, have had it on a ramp and all is ok so i think its down to the downpipe i think, my friend says its prob my gasket, also on full boost my exhaust make a loud noise like the air is escaping?

Does any1 know the parts numbers for the exhaust gasket? and would there be one between the turbo and downpipe, or downpipe exhaust? it apperas to be a flexi looking type downpipe, sorry im no mechanic, my idea is to buy the gaskets and get them fitted to hopefuly solve the issue thanks Oski

Hi sorry mate, its a AMK i have got the part from Audi it came with two gaskets a double type one a nd a single one, both metal,

Does any1 know how much of a job it is to have these fitted as i had a look with my mate today it looks very tricky as from underneath the drive shaft is right in the way, has any 1 done this, and how long a job is it for a garage to do? cheers Oski

i had my downpipe chaged at amd in essex and it cost me just shy of 200 so that should be a rough idea they took the **** use an audi specialist if u dont do it yourself

Thanks mate, do you not recommend them then? as they are only 30 min away from me if you mean the ones near thurrock, might just go to a garage tommorrow see if they can fit me in,
