Brake Lights

Why are the brake lights on my SE only working for the first couple of mins of driving? Ideas on post card please.

How do you know this when you're driving?


Faulty connection? Faulty foot switch?

sounds like brake light switch! thats what mine was when my brake lights worked when then felt like it!

and way he can tell is becuase u can see the 3rd brake light in the window!

Well that and I was following my car the other day and thought that the other half had managed to drive most of the way home without braking. Plus coming back from the cinema the a couple of nights ago it was dark enough to see the lights working and then not!

Will have a look at the switch, have been looking for an excuse to go to the barkers and liberate some bits anyway.

get it from audi, its only £8 new! as u never know, one from breakers might be faulty!
