    Suspension question!

    Hi all.

I have recently had my ARB bushes done, and my drop links replaced.

Now without spending another Ł200 at my local VAG specialist to get top mounts changed i'd like to ask you all what you think.

When going over bumpy roads the cars suspension at the front feels a little loose, for want of a better word - clunky. Its is 100% improvement on what it was when i got the car, by changing the above it's made it better but not perfect.

It is driving me mad, i was going to a friends house (member from here) to see if we could tighten the top mount bolts. Will this do anything?

I've read here before that someone had done it and it made a difference.

    What else could it be!

    HELP!

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light here!

Furthermore what size is the nut for top mounts??

Really appreciate anything anyone can do to help. I'll end up either spending a wad load of cash on it to get it all sorted out or i'll sell it.

22mm or 21mm but you'll need to use a deep offset spanner to allow you to insert a 7mm hex key into the centre to stop the whole lot spinning winth the nut.

    Hope this helps
