how do you bleed the breaks

hi iv changed my abs pump today but i can't get the breaks to bleed how the hell do you do it?

i think there is a bleed valve somewhere in the engine bay as well as on the brakes, not 100% sure though

Should be the usual bleed nipples

Be careful to start with the ABS pump, if it was fitted "dry" then they can be a right ****, we used to have alot of problems with them, they seem to trip out for fun!

there is also two bleed nipples on the master cylinder these need doing first then work from the furthest away caliper back the the closest.

as garth says you might also need to cycle the abs pump using vagcom

thanks guys i got a mate from vw coming up tomorrow with his computer to run the pump and code it, what a pain just to change a abs pump!
